A ComponentModel represents the type of device that will send data to DRIVR.
It defines the device type, capabilities, and data structure within the system.

Steps to Create a Component Model

• Navigate to Prototypes → Component Models
• Click "Add New"

• Enter the following details:

  • Type: Select the type (e.g., Device)
  • Name: Assign a meaningful name (e.g., Plug)
  • Unique Code: Provide a unique identifier or use the auto-generated one
  • Description (Optional): Add additional details about the model
• Click "Save"

• Description: A smart plug capable of power measurement and switching
